Lenin and I went to downtown Dallas yesterday to visit our friends Bethany, Bryan, and Kevin. We all planned to take pictures of Bethany around the city, but it started to rain 10 minutes into the shoot. We decided to call it off after 15 minutes in the rain. Here are some of the images I got in the little time we had.

Bethany is actually a photographer from Seattle, Washington. She is an amazing photographer. I’m so glad to meet her.

After a lot of inspirational thoughts yesterday, I decided to print a poster of this image to display in my room. It is one of my all-time favorite photos!

Vinh and I were old friends from middle school, sadly we both went our separate ways, but recently this all changed when he contacted me to photograph his wedding! I had the pleasure to know how they both interacted with each other during their engagement and bridal session. Vinh always made Ngan laugh when they are together. Vinh told me during the engagement shoot “Life will be hard in the future but I will always try my best to make Ngan happy.” Such a beautiful couple and a gorgeous wedding! Enjoy the photos :]]

This is the first shoot that I really focused on lifestyle/fashion. My aim was to portray real-life situations, in a controlled setting, capturing the natural behavior and personalities of the model. Yes, I shot this whole session with my 35L. Enjoy!! :]
